Intuitive Defense Policies: Deposit and Refund

The cost(s) associated with our training courses vary from course to course as each one is custom built to facilitate and accomplish specific tactics and techniques within that specific course. If you sign up for a training courses, we do require full payment of that course at the time of registration to guarantee your slot as a participant within that course. It is important to note, each training course registration has a non-refundable “deposit” amount associated with it. In each course description, the non-refundable “deposit” amount is disclosed. More information regarding the “deposit” amount, along with our (Intuitive Defense, LLC) refund policy can be found down below. 
 
This “deposit” amount is built into the course cost upon your registration because once that slot is assigned to you, Intuitive Defense, LLC incurs costs associated with it. Some of these initial costs to us (Intuitive Defense, LLC) are, but not limited to: range fees, training area fees, assistant instructor expenses, target expenses, course supply expenses, logistic expenses, and other administrative expenses needed to build each training course.
 
Due to these required, unavoidable initial expenses on our end, upon your registration, we (Intuitive Defense, LLC) have a monetary cost associated with it, whether you attended or not. Because of this, we (Intuitive Defense, LLC) include a “deposit” amount in the cost of each training course. This “deposit” amount is a portion of the overall course cost, not an additional cost to the course. For instance, if the training course is $275.00, the “deposit” amount will be between 25% and 75% of that $275.00 training course cost. The “deposit” amount percentage varies from course to course because our (Intuitive Defense, LLC) costs vary from course to course since they are custom built, but the “deposit” amount will be disclosed within that particular course description.
 
It is our (Intuitive Defense, LLC) policy that the “deposit” amount (between 25% and 75% of the training course cost) is non-refundable if you are unable to attend on the date you registered for. If you give prior notice (minimum of 24 hours) that you are unable to attend your course, you will be issued a refund or a credit of equal value on another training course offered by Intuitive Defense, LLC, minus the “deposit” amount.

If you are a no show on the day of your scheduled training course without prior notice (minimum of 24 hours) then you are not entitled to a refund of any amount, but you may be entitled to a credit of equal value (minus the deposit amount) on other training courses offered by Intuitive Defense, LLC. Some exceptions may apply and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
 
Having said that, we (Intuitive Defense, LLC) understand that things happen that could lead to you not being able to attend. If this is the case, rather than canceling your registration and losing out on your “deposit” or the entire course cost amount, we recommend contacting us to see if we have another class scheduled on a future date. If so, and we still have availability, we can move your registration to that date. Please understand, we may not have any openings or additional training courses scheduled at that moment. If that is the case, we (Intuitive Defense, LLC) will issue a refund, minus the “deposit” amount and place you on a pending course list and contact you when that specific training course is built. If you are contacted later about an available slot on the type of training course you initially registered for, your “deposit” amount will carry over to that course and you would only be required to pay the difference to complete your registration.
 
Furthermore, if you arrive to your training course and cannot train or you cannot complete the training or if you have to leave from that training course early, it is our (Intuitive Defense, LLC) policy that the deposit amount (between 25% and 75% depending on the course) and/or the additional/remaining course training cost/fee (total training course cost) will not be refunded. Some exceptions may apply and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
 
If for whatever reason we (Intuitive Defense, LLC) have to reschedule and/or cancel a training course, we will contact you to see if you can reschedule. If not, we (Intuitive Defense, LLC) will issue you a full refund (including the “deposit” amount).
