The name of this range game is NOOB and focuses on firearm proficiency. This is a mimic style game (similar to HORSE, but on the range and with guns) where a competitor will select a pre-written challenge. Once selected, they will verbally explain it to each person playing. Challenges might include time standards, distance standards, reloading (combat or administrative), purposely induced malfunctions, movement, multiple targets, unconventional shooting techniques, and/or a combination of those tasks and/or others. Following the explanation, the Competitor will physically perform the selected challenge. If they fail the challenge, the Challenger selects the next challenge, but if they are successful with their own challenge, the Challenger must perform the same task and/or tasks. If the Challenger is successful, they select the next challenge. If the Challenger fails, they get a Redemption Shot at a predetermined target(s) from a predetermined distance. If they are successful with their Redemption Shot they do not get a letter. The first person who fails enough challenges and/or redemptions that spell the word N-O-O-B loses the game. You might be asking yourself, "that sounds like an amazingly fun game but, what the hell is a NOOB"? Well, a noob is someone who is inexperienced in a particular activity, event, job, etc. The term is popular within the video game world, which is why we selected that name for this game we call NOOB. If you want to play, you are in luck. Down below you will see an images for specific NOOB variations based on firearm type. Click on that and you will find the rules to the game, along with all of the challenges applicable to that firearm. For future seasons we will incorporate different guns and different challenges, so stay tuned for that! Keep in mind, NOOB is created by two guys (Baker and Kennedy) who barley graduated potty training and who are fascinated by fire (like cavemen) and still think farts are funny (because they are). Although this game is meant to challenge you (depending on your level of proficiency), ultimately this game is designed to be fun. All of our NOOB videos are meant to be entertaining. If you have seen them, you know we do not take ourselves too serious, so you shouldn't either when it comes to our antics. Lastly, the Intuitive Defense YouTube and Rumble page has all of our latest videos of us playing the game so be sure to check that out too! DISCLAIMER: This game is designed for competitors/shooters who are already proficient in basic shooting fundaments and weapon manipulation tactics, along with unconventional shooting techniques. If you decide to play NOOB on your own or with others, you are doing so of your own volition and assume all responsibility and risk. Although this is a game, safety is not.
