Body Armor and Kit Considerations Course Description

* Please read all information before scheduling your course using the link at the bottom of this page *
- Course is open to: Citizens/Law Enforcement/Military -
This course, like many of our other training courses, is designed to be taught in a group setting. There are periodic breaks throughout the course. Course size can vary between 3-25 participants. We do our best to make sure all questions asked by participants are answered and understood before moving onto the next block of information. This course is expected to last approximately 3-5 hours. For course pricing or to schedule a group/family session or a private session, please reference the Course Price section located near the bottom of this page.

The Intuitive Defense, LLC Body Armor and Kit Considerations Course is primarily a lecture-based, group discussion driven workshop style presentation with hands-on demonstrations. This presentation is suited for a wide range of individuals regardless of experience level, but specifically designed for individuals who are new or have minimal experience with body armor and other kit/equipment related items.

All too often people purchase equipment based solely on the recommendations of others or because of marketing material only to find out that gear is not right for them. This typically happens due to lack of knowledge, experience, hands-on review/use, and identification of what or why they need something. Equipment is expensive and it is important that it works to your benefit. It should be effective and efficient. If not, the use of improper equipment that is not ideal or suited for your needs can lead to failure and possibly injury.

Most of the information covered in this course can be found on the internet, which only complicates things because the internet is a large, two-dimensional space with no tangible interaction. This course is designed to bring that information, along with real-world experiences, the process of selection, and products for demonstration into one simple presentation. The ability to hold gear, see how it is set up, and ask questions will give you the knowledge and experience needed to assist you in purchasing and setting up your body armor and kit.

Our goal with this course is to provide you with more information so you can make an informed and rational decision on the equipment and gear needed as it pertains to you, your environment, and the potential use of it. We believe that our teaching method, along with having a simplified, yet informative course of instruction will do just that.
